To the Residents of Albany County:
I am a lifelong resident of Albany County and now live in the Town of Colonie. I have been a member of the Selkirk Fire Department for many years, and serve on the executive board of both the United Way and the Albany Boys and Girls Club. I also have been active coaching my three sons ball teams, as well as a member of the Town of Colonie Democratic Committee.
Albany County is my home, and I’ve spent my career protecting its citizens. I started as a corrections officer at the County Correctional Facility. I then went on to Law Enforcement starting as a Deputy Sheriff, and then being promoted to the following positions, Sergeant, Investigator, Senior Investigator, Lieutenant, Captain, and most recently as Chief Deputy and Undersheriff. I’ve seen all sides of policing, and every aspect of the Albany County Sheriff’s Office. I’ve built crucial relationships with every law enforcement agency in the County, as well as the State Police and Federal agencies.
Together with the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office and I have built one of the finest Sheriff’s Office’s in the State of New York. I am proud to have been a part of this progress. I am deeply commitment to improving further on the professionalism and effectiveness with which the Sheriff’s Office protects and serves the people of Albany County.
